Wheatley Churches Together
Together with St Paul's, Wheatley Churches Together held the annual open-air service on Sunday 22nd June. Before the service members from all the churches walked around Wheatley accompanied by the Wheatley Boys Brigade. At the service a representative of Samaritan's Purse spoke about the work that was being done with children in areas of deprivation in other countries. The Boys Brigade led the worship with "Be Still for the Presence of the Lord" and "Amazing Grace", whilst St Paul's musicians finished the worship with "Brother let me be Your servant" and "In Christ alone my hope is found". The collection raised the magnificent sum of £230 for the work of Samaritan's Purse.
