It's a time to meet friends and neighbours in an informal atmosphere, to enjoy a (usually) hot meal, followed by dessert and tea or coffee, donations are invited to help with the expenses. Occasionally there are parties and Fish and Chip Teas, which are open to everyone. The St Paul's Fellowship Group meets on Tuesday afternoons for fellowship, Bible Study and prayer. It is open to anyone who wants to study the scriptures in home surroundings. Community Bingo sessions are run on alternate Fridays by the Wheatley Community Action Network and are open to all. Over 55's Club is a place for fellowship and fun, with a selection of games and other activities to keep members entertained. Mothers and Toddlers' Club is operated in conjunction with Wheatley Family Centre and managed by fully trained and licensed staff. It's an opportunity to let the children loose to play and develop social skills whilst mums and dads learn to develop theirs. Click here to see who else is based at St Paul's |
